Agri Beef, Agri-Stats Inc. and Weber, Meng, Sahi were are also included in the lawsuit, alleging they collected data from individual companies and then shared it with others.
There is no indication in the lawsuit that JBS and Cargill colluded on wages in Canada, although they are the dominant beef packers here.

Don't hold your breath waiting for the Canadian Competition Bureau to investigate this or any other price-fixing cases in the Canadian food industry.
It's not for a lack of evidence, as in the egg-grading industry, but either incompetence or unwillingness.
