Mark MacPhail is the new general manager for the Ontario Processing Vegetable Growers.

He takes over from Keith Robbins.

The board has about 350 members who grow nine main processing vegetable crops that are canned, frozen or pickled.

Jim Romahn: Journalist who has been reporting on agriculture since 1963; winner of more than 100 awards, including two Govenor- General Awards for Public Service in Journalism plus an honourable mention as one of five finalists plus the 1987 Michener-Deacon fellowship to study and report on biotechnology research in agriculture.
