Ontario’s three general farm organizations are still waiting for tribunal decisions on their re-accreditation, which is their avenue to revenues.
The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Appeal Tribunal held public hearings in late September on their applications for re-accreditation.
Tribunal chairman Kirk Walstedt wrote via e-mail this week that the decisions are “still in process.”
