Fresh Express is recalling its Sunflower Crisp Chopped Kit because it contains romaine lettuce from Salinas, California.
E. coli 0157:H7 has been discovered in romaine lettuce from the Salinas area of California, so the Canadian Food Inspection Agency has been warning against eating any romaine recently sourced from that area.
The United States Centers for Disease Control reports 102 people in 23 states have been sickened by the E. coli bacteria in romaine lettuce from Salinas.
