Alltech cancels meeting for 3,500 people

Alltech has cancelled its May 17-19 conference in Lexington Kentucky over concerns that coronavirus might spread among the 3,500 people who were expected to attend.

Instead they will be able to participate online for the ONE: The Alltech Ideas Conference (ONE). Alltech said it expected people from 70 countries to participate.

“Our first priority remains the health and safety of attendees, our colleagues and the communities in which we live and work,” said Dr. Mark Lyons, Alltech’s president and chief executive officer.
