The Canadian Food Inspection Agency reports that it identified 13 cases of rabies in bats in Ontario during August.
It ran 289 tests during August out of a total
of 475 for all of Canada.
Ontario now has had 39 cases, Six were skunks, one a cat and all the rest were bats.
