Dr. Deb Stark has been named deputy of the Ontario Ministry
of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
She begins Jan. 28, taking over from Karen Chan who has only
been in the post since September.
Stark has been chief veterinarian and has moved up through the
OMAFRA ranks after serving at the Ontario Ministry of Environment.
She is a graduate of Ontario Veterinary College and of
Wilfrid Laurier University where she earned a Master of Business Administration
degree.
In November, she was named Amethyst Fellow, School of Policy Studies, at Queen's University, Kingston, Ont.
