Canada has become only the second country to have its food
safety systems accepted by the United States Food and Drug Administration.
The first was New Zealand.
The FDA has determined that the Canadian Food Inspection
Agency and Health Canada deliver food-safety protocols that are equivalent with
U.S. protocols.
