Pitman Family Farms is building 70 barns in California to
increase production of its Mary’s Free-Range Chickens.
It aims to increase its broiler production four-fold at four different sites.
One farm expects to increase production capacity from
120,000 to 1.02 million birds per crop.
Three
other sites will increase production by about 30 per cent.
