The Ontario Pork
marketing board is seeking clarification of a posting on the website
of the Ontario Farm Products Marketing Commission outlining fees,
including 20 cents per weaner hog.
The board notes that
it has been collecting the fee since 2014.
The fee does not
apply to weaners exported from the province.
