Ontario has had two more outbreaks of Porcine Epidemic
Diarrhea Virus, both in finishing barns.
One was in Perth, the other in Wellington County. Both are
listed on the Ontario Pork website as being reported Apr. 4.
They bring the Ontario total to 126 and indicate again that
biosecurity is not tight enough in Ontario to prevent the spread of
highly-contagious and deadly diseases.
