Erie Meat Products Ltd. is recalling Frozen All White Meat Fully Cooked Diced Chicken because tests by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency detected Listeria monocytogenes food-poisoning bacteria.
The recall is nation-wide and includes product sold to restaurants, hotels, cafeterias, nursing homes and hospitals.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said it has no reports of anyone falling ill after eating the products. It’s investigation is ongoing and may be expanded to more products.
