Only in the Excited States!
While reading Drift, a book by Rachel Maddow about U.S. military might gone amok, I learned that news photographers need special permission to take pictures of wounded U.S. soldiers.
It seems that Americans don't want to see anything negative about the wars they start.
However, Americans seem eager to see underground videos depicting negative images of livestock and poultry farming.
Why not send the animal activists on an underground mission to capture footage of wounded U.S. soldiers?
Better yet, send them on a mission to video wounded employees of companies hired to help win U.S. wars because those employees now far outnumber American troops and it's really difficult finding out how many of them get wounded or killed.
Some things about the Excited States are really hard to understand.
