Two companies get grants

Two well-heeled companies got grants announced Monday by the federal and provincial agriculture departments.

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. received $90,380 to help it “build leadership capacity and drive high performance results by delivering a team-based, continuous learning and improvement environment for approximately 140 employees” and to “provide training through Mohawk College, which ensured that employees have the knowledge and skills needed to improve efficiency and operations at the Hamilton facility.”

Andrew Peller Limited received $20,593 to support their Overall Equipment
Effectiveness project, which has helped the company reduce costs, increase efficiency and boost competitiveness at their Winona, Ontario facility.

I wonder how much these companies and their executive officers will contribute to Liberal campaigns.
