A new report from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in London highlights the
importance of two-way agricultural trade with the United States.
It says millions of jobs on both sides of the border depend
on continued free trade.
And it uses Maple Leaf Foods and its pork operations as an
example of how the two nations agricultural economies are closely linked.
The
authors write that much has been said about the close relationships in the
automotive industry, but agriculture is just as integrated and important.
