The Ontario Farm Products Marketing Commission has posted
information about the vote to be held by goat producers on forming an
association as proposed by the Ontario Goat Breeders Association.
The vote will be held between Feb. 27 and March 10. All
known producers will be mailed a package that includes an outline of the
proposal.
The
information summary will also be posted on Ontario Goat's website at www.ontariogoat.ca.
The
commission is asking "are you in favour of Ontario Goat being designated
as the representative association for goat milk producers in Ontario under
Section 12 of the Farm Products Marketing Act as described in the enclosed
information summary and paying a licence fee to finance the association's
activities to stimulate, increase and improve the production and marketing of
goat milk in Ontario?"

who do not receive a voting package by March 1, 2017 should contact the
