Vantage Foods (ON) Inc.
is recalling ground lean veal from Food
Basics supermarkets because it may be contaminated with E. coli
O157:H7 .
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning people to not
eat it.
This
food-poisoning bacteria can kill people with weak or compromised immune systems
and cause others serious damage, such as life-long impaired kidney function.
