Kale salad has listeria


Test results indicate that Eat Smart kale salad in 320-gram packaging may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

If you have some of this product in your kitchen, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency said you should not eat it.

There have been no illnesses so far associated with this product, the CFIA said.

The salad was distributed across Ontario, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and possibly nation-wide, the CFIA said on its website.
