The Canadian Beef Industry Council has post-poned its conference for one year.
It was to be held Aug. 11 to 13 at Penticton, B.C.
“It is unfortunate that we are unable to meet face-to-face in 2020, but there are a lot of factors that we had to consider in these extraordinary times,” said Judy Guichon, chair of the CBIC.
She said the council plans to host a virtual conference for Aug 11-13 this year “so the Canadian beef industry can connect, learn, and support one another.
“This event will be offered as a free online tool for the entire industry.”
