Farm Credit Canada has provided $340,000 for 20 community projects in Ontario, including an irrigation system for Ignatius Farm at a monastery in the northern part of Guelph and a new van for Chatham-Kent Community Health to help deliver in-home care.
It’s part of a national program providing $1.5 million for 92 community projects.
Each community project is eligible for $5,000 to $25,000.
Applications will be open during March for next year’s $1.5-million program.
