Chicken Farmers of Canada has received permission from the Farm Products Council of Canada to boost its per diems to $185 per conference call and to $370 for calls longer than three hours or virtual meetings of more than three hours.
The chairman gets a bonus of eight meetings to account for other duties; that could add up to adds up to $3,920.
The three members of the executive committee get a bonus of three meetings which could be as much as $1,470.
There are differing maximum per diems - $370 and $490.
