Ontario tallies 42 rabies cases

Ontario had 32 cases of rabies last year, but only one of them was in December.

Twenty-seven were in bats, 12 in skunks, two in racoons and one dog.

Nationally there were 105 cases, 51 of them in bats.

Two cows in Manitoba were victims of rabies.
