Fast food patrons sue over sizes

Fast food chains in the United States are facing lawsuits over the size of their offerings.

This week a Miami judge dismissed a motion by Burger King that sought to get rid of a lawsuit that complains its burgers are smaller than pictured in advertising.

The plaintiff complained that the Whopper has ingredients that make it look 35 per cent larger.

McDonald’s and Wendy’s are facing similar lawsuits in Brooklyn, New York, and Taco Bell is being sued over its Crunchwraps and Mexican pizzas.
