Peter and Sasha Kotzeff of Chesley have filed a crop insurance appeal against Agricorp.
They are veterinarians who also farm about 1,800 acres in Bruce County and were 2014 winners of the Beef Farmers of Ontario award for environmental stewardship.
The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs has set Feb. 8 and 9 for a public hearing of their appeal.
