Feds to invest $3 million in Elora dairy setup

The federal government will put $3 million into the new dairy research facility at the Elora Research Station run by the University of Guelph.

That’s in addition to $12 million committed earlier to the dairy research cluster.

The new money comes from the Canadian Agricultural Adaptation Program.

The province is putting $20 million into the centre and the Dairy Farmers of Ontario has committed $1 million. The dairy industry in Ontario has pledged another $1 million.

What are they going to do with $25 million? Farm until it's gone?
