A four-year-old boy has died in a
tractor accident on a farm in Southgate Township near Highway 89 in Grey County
Saturday.
Police were called after a tractor tire
fell over, pinning the child.
He was taken by ambulance to hospital
where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation is being conducted
under the authority of the Coroner's Office, with the assistance of Grey County
OPP and the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, which is called in whenever the
deceased is under the age of five.
The Farm Safety Board has also been
notified.
