The Business Development Bank of Canada is lending $10
million to a plant at Sarnia that intends to produce ethanol from corn stover.
Mario Saucier, spokesman for BioAmber, said the loan will increase working
capital.
It is a joint venture business with
Mitsui of Canada.
The Business Development Bank of Canada is owned by the
federal government.
