Daryl
Vermey has been chosen to be managing director of the Ontario Pork Industry
Council, taking over from Lori Moser who has taken a new role as manager of
Swine Health Ontario.
Vermey has
been research and development coordinator for the Ontario Bean Growers, policy
analyst for the Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association and program
coordinator for the Agricultural Adaptation Council since he gained a degree in
agronomy in 2005 and a MSc degree in agronomy in 2008, both at the University
of Guelph.
