Japan is increasing
its tariffs on frozen beef by 50 per cent.
The move will impact
Australia and the United States the most because they account for 90
per cent of Japan’s frozen beef imports.
The tariff increase
is automatic, rising by long-established policy when imports hit a
certain volume.
