Mini Babybel comes to Canada

Mini Babybel cheeses will be made in Canada after an $87-million plant is completed in Quebec sometime in 2020.

The Bel Group said its investment will generate 380 jobs for Canadians who will work with 20 technical experts it will bring for the project.

The plant will be built in Sorel-Tracey, Que.; the company’s Canadian head office will continue to be in Montreal.

The Bel Group markets its cheese in more than 30 countries and employs more than 12,000 people.
