Maple Leaf Foods has named Casey Richards senior vice president of marketing and innovation.
He takes over from Adam Grogan who was chosen to oversee Maple Leaf’s fast-growing U.S.-based Greenleaf plant protein business.
Richards will also continue to oversee the Maple Lef’s pastry business.
He will join Maple Leaf’s senior leadership team.
He came to Maple Leaf from ConAgra and has been with General Mills and Nestle.
Maple Leaf has some strong American experience in its leadership team, which is helpful because it exports a lot of product to the U.S.
