Bayer Animal Health is offering farmers around the world three prizes of 10,000 Euros each ($14,900 Cdn) for innovations that improve hog welfare.
The Care4Pigs program follows a Care4Cattle program Bayer introduced.
The competition is open to farmers, those who care for pigs and veterinarians who have developed innovative ways to improve welfare for pigs.
An independent panel will judge the entries which can be submitted online to Care4Pigs.com before June 30.
