President Aaron Kwinter said the company is working closely with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and the Region of Waterloo health unit to contain the virus.
The companies are controlled by L.H. Gray and Son Ltd., they are the largest egg-processing company in Canada and Gray also runs the second-largest egg layer and egg-grading businesses in Ontario and Canada.
GrayRidge is now controlled by P+H Foods, a major grain handler, flour miller and meat processor.
