The show, which airs on CBC at 8 p.m. Saturday, follows the family as it makes its way through the show circuit to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.
The show, called Year of the Goat, has been produced by Michael McNamara, a neighbour of the Jantzis, and Aaron Hancox.
McNamara told reporter Megan Delaire of the Waterloo Region Record “for people like this who are so responsible and humane,” he wanted the film to show people “how well-treated and loved their animals are.
“That’s something we saw firsthand and we felt it was important . . . to let people see for themselves.”
