The province is gradually increasing the mandatory ethanol
content in gasolines from 10 to 15 per cent.
The requirement will increase to 11 per cent in 2025, 13 per
cent in 2028 and 15 per cent in 2030.
The province said it’s being announced now as an incentive to
increase production capacity. It said the policy aims to reduce greenhouse gas
emissions.
