Public health officials report that workers at the Maple Lodge and Maple Leaf packing plants in the Toronto area have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
It is part of the province’s new priorities which include workers in food-processing facilities.
Farm workers are also now on the priority list to be vaccinated.
All temporary foreign workers arriving in Canada are being offered vaccination.
