CFIA finds Listeria in pork product

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s testing program has identified Listeria monocytogenes in European Butcher’s “Bacon Chuncks” product.

It is now on recall from retailers in Ontario, including several upscale shops in the Waterloo Region.

The CFIA has not had any reports of consumers falling ill after eating the product
