National Bison Week July 10-17

 

Parliament has declared July 10 to 17 National Bison Week.

The International Bison Convention is being held in Saskatoon and has farm tours open to the public.

The industry hopes to educate more people about the important role bison have played in Canadian history. 

There will also be an emphasis on indigenous peoples’ contributions.
