Benoit Basillais has been promoted from director of policy and economics to chairman of the Canadian Dairy Commission.
He was appointed by federal Agriculture Minister Marie-Claude Bibeau and takes over from Serge Riendeau, the dairy producer and former Agropur Co-operative president who has. been CDC chairman since 2018.
