P&H expanding in Hamilton


 

P&H Milling Group and Parrish & Heimbecker Ltd. are expanding facilities at the port of Hamilton, acing two storage silos for feed ingredients and to serve its flour mills.


It also plans to build a third flour mill to complement the one it built in 2017 and another in 2020.


Chief executive officer John Heimbecker said ”we are not just expanding our infrastructure; we are investing in the future of Canadian agriculture and the baking industry. This strategic move reaffirms our dedication to meeting the needs of both our valued agricultural partners and our business partners.”


The company has substantial holdings in Ontario, including New Life Mills, flour mills in Hanover, Acton and Cambridge, substantial turkey quota and farms and a stake in GrayRidge egg-grading and production company.


It has mills in Saskatoon, Lethbridge, Alta., Halifax, and Montreal.
