Nutreco Canada Inc. was hit by a $6,000 fine in court in
Quebec last month for marketing feed with misleading or wrong label
information.
The company pleaded guilty in court at Ste. Hyacinthe.
Nutreco is a Dutch company that bought the Shur Gain and
Landmark Feeds businesses from Maple Leaf Foods Inc. in 2007.
It is the largest feed-manufacturing company in Canada.
