Longo’s
supermarket chain is the third Canadian company to issue a recall this week of
imported red peppers.
The Canadian Food
Inspection Agency says on its website that the recall applies to Longo's brand Hot Red Thai Chili
Peppers.
The reason
is potential contamination with salmonella food-poisoning bacteria.
