The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to animals is
investigating Holstein Rabbit Farm north of Mount Forest, but police have
arrested three intruders.
Grey County OPP have arrested and charged a
25-year-old man from Mount Forest, Ont. with break and enter and disguise with
intent.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 21 in Owen
Sound.
Police also charged a 27-year-old woman from Lincoln,
Ont. and a 42-year old man from York, Ont., both with entering a premises when
entry is prohibited.
The OSPCA began to investigate after a resident found
several dead and decaying rabbits, and hundreds apparently left running free
and unattended.
