Four people will be added to the Ontario Agricultural Hall of Fame on June 14.
They are John Davis Curtis who promoted corn as a new crop in Eastern Ontario, Brian Little who served on the Ontario Agricultural College for 20 years and identified labour gaps that led to a 50 per cent increase in enrolment, Murray Mills who played a role in developing rotary combines and Dianne Margaret Harkin who formed the Women For The Survival of Agriculture organization in 1975 and pushed for women’s work to be recognized for income tax and Canada Pension Plan purposes.
The induction ceremony will be Sunday, June 14, at Country Heritage Park at Milton.
