Tess Faulkner and Gillian Grieves of South West Ontario
Veterinary Services have won an F.X. Aherne prize for inventing a mesh hammock
to hold pigs.
It enables staff to hold a small pig in a type of sling made of
wind mesh so they can be more easily treated or euthanized.
The Hammock is foldable for easy storage.
