Heartland Farm Mutual Inc. has reported a minor data breach involving an employee’s e-mail inbox.
It has notified affected clients and promised to cover the cost of credit monitoring for 12 months.
So far there has been no misuse of information, the company said.
Heartland was formed in 2016 through a merger of North Waterloo Farmers Mutual and Oxford Mutual Insurance.
