The world’s 20 largest dairy processors market more than $130 billion a year and account for about 25 per cent of the world’s supply, according to a new report from an international dairy organization.
They handle about 211 million
tonnes of milk per year and have been increasing that by about 2.4 per cent per
year from 2014 to 2019
Most of the 20 are in Europe and six
in the United States. Saputo of Montreal is among the top 10.
