There was sudden notice today of a hearing brought by the Turkey Processors Association of Ontario against the Turkey Farmers of Ontario marketing board.
The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food Appeal Tribunal had nothing on its website about the appeal until this morning and today’s posting said it’s not open to the public.
It is a preliminary hearing, but what it’s about is not provided in the posting.
It is, however, likely to be a pricing issue.
