Inflation is still rising, reports the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), hitting 7.7 per cent in February, up from 7.2 per cent in January.
Canada’s rate was reported as 5.7 per cent, but for food was 7.4 per cent.
A year ago the OECD inflation rate was 1.7 per cent.
Canada is faring better than the United States where the overall inflation rate for February was 7.9 per cent and for food was 8.6 per cent.
