Unemployment rate declines

The unemployment rate in countries belonging to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has declined to pre-pandemic levels and the lowest rate since 2001.

Canada’s unemployment rate declined more than most OECD countries and stood at 5.3 per cent in February; the OECD average was 5.2 per cent.

So it's not only Canadian farmers who face challenges recruiting workers.
